9am Saturday 14th September

60A Narrows Rd Montville.

Split : Native Social Stingless Bees Hive.

Rod Nash has kindly offered to do a a hive split for this meeting.  Please note the start time is 9am which suits Rod and his bees better than the usual 2pm.  Those people who attended a similar event in October last year will recall how informative it was.

As this is at Rod’s home, parking is limited so please organise to car pool if possible, even if only from Montville.  Directions:  The driveway is on the right about 1km down Narrows Rd.  There are about 8 bins at the driveway entrance, drive in and keep driving DON’T TURN OFF ANYWHERE,  after about 500m the dirt will turn to bitumen keep going when you get to the top of the hill, it will turn to dirt again, keep going on through the Bamboo to Rod’s house

Entry is by Gold coin donation, and please bring a plate of food to share for morning tea.  Tea and coffee will be provided.  Please also bring a cup, chair, water, hat etc as it will be outside.  Contributions of surplus produce, plants, herbs etc for the raffle will be greatly appreciated.

I will have some copies of John Klumpp's Australian Stingless Bees and also Frank Jordan and Helen Schwenke's Create More Butterflies for sale
