Meet at HBC, 38A Coral St at 8.50am to board the Barung Bandicoot     (the bus)

Barung has recently completed the Blackall Range Rainforest Recovery project, a project supported by Healthy Land & Water through funding from the Australian Government, and we'd like you to come and see what we've done.

We'll be visiting two properties for a walk and talk led by rainforest ecologist Greg Smyrell who will tell the tale of restoration and connection in the Blackall Range.  The project has included 3ha of weed control work (including Camphor laurel, Morning glory, Large-leaf privet, Palm grass) and revegetation (planting over 1,800 trees) in the Mooloolah River and Mellum Creek catchments.

Closed footwear, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and water bottle is advised

Morning tea provided

9 - 12.30

Bookings may be made online here or phone the office 5494 3151
