The Noosa Festival of Water raises community awareness of the benefits of conserving and protecting water resources and aquatic biodiversity, as well as promoting sustainable land management in the Lake Macdonald sub-catchment.
The Festival is held at the Noosa Botanic Gardens and Lake Macdonald Amphitheatre.
From 10am to 3pm the Festival will showcase a range of environmental displays and sustainable technologies, children’s activities, Geckoes Wildlife Native Animals display, and top local entertainment in the Amphitheatre as well as offering a selection of refreshments.
This is the 12th year that the Festival has been held. Each year the Festival attracts in the vicinity of 2000 people over the course of the day.
The Noosa Festival of Water is hosted by the Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee (MRCCC) and supported by the Noosa Council, Noosa Botanic Gardens, Seqwater and Queensland Water and Landcare.
